Vintage 900 Silver St Sophia Church Istanbul Tie Clasp - A Product Description: This is a great Vintage 900 Silver Made in Turkey Image of Saint St. Sophia Sophia's Church in Istanbul Turkey Tie Clasp, measuring approx.2 1/4" X 1"at its widest, and is marked 900 which indicates that this piece contains 900 of 1000 parts of Silver as opposed to STERLING SILVER which contains 925 parts of 1000 of Silver, and this is also marked MADE IN TURKEY. Probably dates 1930's to 60's. Very nice high quality collectible tie clasp. Please remember that anything handmade is not perfect. There may be some flaws, mostly from manufacture, and possibly from age. I will try to note anything that I see as a major flaw. Please check out my other items. Please NOTE, I do not clean any of the jewelry as some collectors prefer to leave the original patina on the piece.
